Anyone bettin'?
I narrowed it down to two ponies and got a $10 Exacta box on the 5/6, and then 5 across on each (Creative Minister & Mo Donegal).

Belmont Stakes
Re: Belmont Stakes
How much would it cost to do a perfecta wheel with the five horse and the 6 horse with the entire field?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
Re: Belmont Stakes
There were 8 horses in the race so a $2 wheel with the 5 would have cost $14 (2 x 7) and another $14 to wheel the 6. The exacta paid 27 and change for 2 bucks.
I lost a few bucks, had the winner across, but Creative Minister didn't show....served me right, a Jew betting that horse.

Re: Belmont Stakes
As you probably figured I'm not a horse race better, what is the difference between a perfecta and an exacta?
I'll keep my eye out for a running Rabbi for you

Re: Belmont Stakes
No difference at all. Same thing. Kind of like some people who call "soda", "pop".
Running rabbi sounds like a great name, but he'd never be in a Triple Crown race since they only run those on Saturdays.

Re: Belmont Stakes
Thanks for the info.
Well that policy sounds kind of anti-Semitic to me. I look think the Jews should protest the triple crown. I mean, sounds almost like they're trying to deprive the Jewish people of the joys of horse racing.
We need a better lobby. But if somebody started a Jew lives matter group and spent the proceeds on buying themselves several mansions it would do nothing but promote a stereotype.
Hey, didn't Hank Greenberg play baseball on Saturdays?

Re: Belmont Stakes
I don't get how several people here could be animal rights activists and then bet on animals. But that's just me. No judgement. I don't believe it should be made illegal. Hope you all did well.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

You make a valid point. I would never bet on dog racing as I do believe that is an abusive activity (would not call it a sport).MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 9:48 pmI don't get how several people here could be animal rights activists and then bet on animals. However, I do think horse racing is a different animal...pun intended. Take triple crown winner Seattle Slew. Raced about 15 times, had a glorious career, retired at 5, and then spent the last 25 years eating and fucking different mares all the time. Sign me up for that abuse.
