He was one of the greats. Damn shame.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

The Trottier-Bossy-Gillies line was one of the most prolific in NHL history, some might argue the most feared ever. Bossy's nine straight seasons of 50+ goals was a record, later tied by Gretzky. It marked a new era in professional hockey.
