March Madness predictions
Re: March Madness predictions
This is just smelling like a Kansas-Duke final. That will make me physically ill.

Goodness, this rings a bell from fifteen or twenty years ago! The Spartans were upset early in the tournament by...was it Charleston? George Mason?..and I wrote on here that at least the ladies were "getting it done". You called me "pathetic" for even bringing it up.
Are we now grasping at blue and yellow straws, Matt?

Your memory is better than mine. I can absolutely imagine saying that, but I don't remember.moldyoldie wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 2:28 pmGoodness, this rings a bell from fifteen or twenty years ago! Re: March Madness predictions
Kansas won the choke bowl today, but I like Villanova to shut that offense down. They hold a great offensive Houston team to 44 points. I like Villanova against the winner of tonight's game.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

With Moore out, Nova doesn't have a prayer vs. Kansas.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 5:02 pm Kansas won the choke bowl today, but I like Villanova to shut that offense down. They hold a great offensive Houston team to 44 points. I like Villanova against the winner of tonight's game.

Thanks, Honeyman. IIRC, George Mason advanced pretty far in the tournament and I said I couldn't feel so bad losing to one of the best teams in the country. That really made me "pathetic" in Matt's eyes.Honeyman wrote:It was George Mason.....that was the tournament got Larriega the Miami job.
Back on topic, I'm sure the Final Four will be competitive, but it consists of no one outside the "old guard"; i.e., no one I can root for. I stopped filling out brackets a few years ago. I suppose if there's anyone I could get behind it would be 'Nova.

Re: March Madness predictions
I keep hearing this stat that NC had never played Duke in the tournament. That seems literally impossible given how deep both teams have gone so many times.
Re: March Madness predictions
They are NEVER matched up in the same regional, so the only way they could meet is in the FF or championship game.
