Word on the street is that remnants of the old McNamara machine living in and around Livonia are preparing someone that will primary Ms. Tlaib.
Good luck with that.

With any luck, the embarrassment that is the anti-Semite Tlaib will be booted from Congress.

People who despise the geopolitical actions of Israel are not automatically anti Semitic. That's an extreme Zionist position.

Tlaib is an anti-Semite, no question.

Good. Just about anyone would be an improvement (so long as it isn't Ficano).
DTE Energy paid $752 million in dividends to its shareholders last fiscal year. Remember that the next time they ask the MPSC to approve rate hikes.

Although he is crooked, at least he's not a complete embarrassment. I'd still take him over her if that was any or the only possible choice.

She certainly fits into the appropriate "anybody but her" type of campaign.

Heck, maybe Kwame should run! (LOL)

Janice Winfrey just announced she's running in the primary against Tlaib. I'm no fan of Ms. Winfrey.
However, she would be the lesser of two evils.

Does the 11th go from Bloomfield all the way down to Livonia and part of Detroit? Wow.

Perhaps you mean the 12th?

That one runs from 14 Mile Rd in Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms and Franklin down through Southfield, Livonia, Westland, Dearborn Heights, Redford Twp, Dearborn and sections of western Detroit.

It would not surprise me if Westland mayor, Bill Wild, were to throw his hat into the ring. Perhaps someone with ties to Dearborn will also run?

A district with that design seems ripe for a challenger to Talaib.

At least the oversight is working. There hasn't been much work in the past year.

A primary defeat won't happen. Tlaib won her primary and general contests each by massive margins in 2022. She is very popular among the Arab, African American, and non-Jewish white progressive crowds in her district. Other than Livonia (where many residents will vote in the GOP primary and aren't large enough in number to tip the scales in a general contest), the zip codes in her district line up nicely for her.

Any effort to unseat her would be futile.

Correct. Now, Biden supporting Israel may cost him, but I would totally support Rashida. That's especially in light of the incursion in Palestine. Why do these innocent civilians have to suffer for the sins of Hamas?
