Still almost 24 hours from when it's supposed to start snowing and our wonderful local media is already screwing things up. WTVG is running the network's "America This Morning" on a loop as of 5 am today instead of local news.
Don't worry, if they can't get their shit together WNWO will have people in South Bend blaming Biden for the storm and WUPW will be running Steve Wilkos' show.

Re: Toledo winter storm of 2022
For an outside-the-market perspective, which Toledo TV station would/should be the best for coverage of this weather event?
It leads to a possible topic for future discussion- which station in each regional market does the best in weather reporting and presentation? That excludes the other areas of a news operation- news, sports, reporting, news set, overall image within their market, etc.

WTVG normally is the best, that's the sad part.
WTOL/WUPW is passable but not as good as they once were.
Don't even bother with WNWO.

So did they not run the 4 and 4:30 am dramacasts too?CurlyHoward wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 5:12 am WTVG is running the network's "America This Morning" on a loop as of 5 am today instead of local news.
So.... when will 13abc add a "13 Drama Gossip at 7?" Not like we need those 4 am, 4:30 am, 5 am, 5:30 am, 4 pm, 4:30 pm, 5 pm, or 5:30 pm dramacasts anyhow. How many times do we want to see cop cars in front of the same house? If it's Thursday, you can see those same cop cars all weekend, until Monday at 4 pm on every newscast. Yippy!!!!! Anything to chare more money for a spot. Patheric!
Also, when will CW13 get a 10pm news too? When CW13 started Jeff and Sashem did updates, in spot clusters, obviously prerecorded. Only issue is you CANNOT get CW13 online, like 13abc. This means programs and news, if added won't be streamed, as CW13 is cable, AT&T, maybe satellite, and OTA only. No YouTube TV, Hulu live, Fubo, Direct TV Stream, etc.
