I saw on TV Guide back in the Summer of 1976 that channel 50 in Detroit played the reruns of "The Monkees" (June till early September)!! Can't believe that WJRT TV 12 in Flint back then never showed the reruns. WSMH FOX 66 did showed the reruns of "The Monkees" in mid to late 1986 & then again round 1987. WSMH did NOT showed the remake of "The New Monkees" in September till December of 1987 whatsoever.

I looked in the MIchigan Daily Digital Archives and couldn't find anything (https://digital.bentley.umich.edu/midaily).

I also looked on several concert database sites and couldn't find anything.

I looked in the Detroit Free Press archives on Newspapers.com and did find that he (and the First National Band) played at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on September 14, 2018.

MeTV did a two-hour block of Monkees shows this afternoon as a tribute to Nesmith.
