Michigan hits new record for adult COVID-19 hospitalizations; 80% of beds full
Michigan reached a new record of adults hospitalized with COVID-19 on Monday with 4,181 hospitalized with confirmed cases of the virus, the most since the pandemic began.

Probably not. No election that needs to be rigged coming up.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Dems need all the help they can get in 2022. That said, I think another lockdown would be political suicide.

I will just leave this right here... As I have pointed out before, this entire situation could be much less significant to the well-being of my fellow citizens than it is.
Of Americans surveyed from Sept. 13-22, 72% of adults 18 and older had been vaccinated, including 71% of white Americans, 70% of Black Americans, and 73% of Hispanics. Contrast these converging figures with disparities based on politics: 90% of Democrats had been vaccinated, compared with 68% of Independents and just 58% of Republicans.
A Gallup survey released on Sept. 29 confirmed the KFF findings. As of mid-September, 75% of adult Americans have been vaccinated, including 73% of non-Hispanic white adults and 78% of non-whites. Along party lines, however, the breakdown was 92% of Democrats, 68% of Independents, and 56% of Republicans.
There is no reason to believe that these gaps in vaccination rates will disappear anytime soon. According to Gallup, 40% of Republicans “don’t plan” to get vaccinated, versus 26% of Independents and just 3% of Democrats. In response to a more sharply worded KFF question, 23% of Republicans report that they will “definitely not” get vaccinated, compared to 11% of Independents and just 4% of Democrats.

I think the numbers regarding the booster should be even more interesting. My Republican mother refuses to get her booster, but my dad(who leans hard right though is "independent") was one of the first who got one. Originally, he downplayed COVID like some here last year and then saw the deaths. Kind of proud of my dad even though he voted for Trump twice. A real man admits when he is wrong.

Your mother letting your father finish in her was THE biggest screw up of the 20th century.

Both of you - uncalled for.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

But they are both correct nonetheless.

The 2nd lockdown was in place from late November 2020 until March 2021. Look at what that graph shows.

Wrong. The second lockdown was ended by February 1. The second lockdown caused the April-May surge.

I won't comply with your Reaganomic, racist homophobic ass.

Are you kidding me? The word lockdown has been taken out of Queen Gretchen's vocabulary! They got their boy Biden in office and Trump OUT, her poll numbers are not all that great, and whatever they said about "Science" really was about "Political Science". She's trying to get moderates and independents like myself to come over to her side to push her over the finish line for another 4 years. As good looking as she is, I'm not buying her bullshit, I'd have a beer with her but no vote for the Queen. No such thing as lockdown anymore, got an election to win.
