I remember watching that live. Huel's delivery on some of those texts was pretty damn convincing! :hat

I always lost my shit at "hell yeah." He straight up sounded like a pimp there. :lol
Yep. Valenti always used that drop.

I actually first read your accolades for Mr. Perkins last night and got to thinking.

I believe, in every rating that have been posted since I've been a member of the Buzzboard in 2019, Fox2 has been the least watched newscast whenever he is in front of the camera.

Overall.. for a while they were right there with 4 in the demos which is where it counts…

I just scrolled back thru the postings. The last TV ratings were posted by you in February.
How often do Detroit TV sweeps come out?

February, May, July and November. I’ll look and see if there is anything for May or July.

I'm reaching back a number of years here, but didn't Huel arrive in 1990 or so to replace either Vince Wade or Joe Glover?

I think Fox is looking to make some serious changes at WJBK to bring it back up to speed. I believe this happened with WAGA a few years ago. I think there’s about to be a H*** revolving door at Fox 2. Don’t be shocked if Fox Television Stations brings big name talent from other O&Os to replace them. The morning show also needs a H*** makeover.

I know that Rooj and/or Asher could replace them, but I think Fox is going to go another route. If anything, Rooj might do the Edge and Let it Rip!!
CircleWXYZ, I am really hoping that Fox make some serious changes at WJBK to bring it back up to speed. I used to love Fox 2 News at 10PM before it went downhill a couple of years ago.

Huel Perkins should leave now and not wait until next year. The sooner the better.

CircleWXYZ, I should've been specific. I loved Fox 2 News at 10PM back when Charlie Leduff and M.L. Elrick (Those two were my favorite Fox 2 news reporters) were on there. Once Fox 2 got rid of Leduff and Elrick, that's when Fox 2 News at 10PM went downhill.
