ELP released "Tarkus" in '71. Side-long title track with shorter songs on side 2 but no real big hits unlike "Lucky Man" on the album before or "From The Beginning" on the album after. Good album like all their early work though.Mega Hertz wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 9:19 pm2 great Alice Cooper albums in "Love It To Death" and "Killer", and Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" and "Master of Reality". I'm fairly certain there was a 1971 ELP album, but I could very well be wrong on that. That was when you could get two albums per year from some artists. A lot of that stuff is fading from popular conscious. And that blows.

That would be Nursery Cryme, with this great song:G G wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 5:05 amI wouldn't have been caught dead listening to those two transvestites back in the 1970s. You probably like Jethro Tull.Mega Hertz wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 9:19 pm2 great Alice Cooper albums in "Love It To Death" and "Killer", and Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" and "Master of Reality". Genesis had a good album back in '71.
