Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
Rob going after Ron! Questioning how long he'll be at The Patriot & then after Avila & Jake Rogers. You're looking at a lifetime ban, Rob.
Re: Ron Cameron
lol, Jake Rogers is the best catcher in baseball?!
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron must have some vacation plans with Jake Rogers.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron & Rick Leach "just laughed." I'm imagining the freeze-frame ending of an old, lame tv show.
Re: Ron Cameron
Emailer Dan trolling, asking a guest, again, what his greatest thrill was!
Re: Ron Cameron
Thanks, Alex, for asking about the podcasts. I hope the promise of them being up "next week" isn't as hollow as his years-long promise to have a restaurant announcement "next week."

Re: Ron Cameron
I really wish we could've stayed on a subject a little more. But I hope it was entertaining enough, and thought it was a decent show.
Re: Ron Cameron
Thanks Alex you made the show entertaining.

Re: Ron Cameron
I believe Rob's comments about Ron's love for Rogers caught Ron completely off guard. Ron surprisingly did not fight that one as much as I thought he would. Thanks Alex, I would have watched the ballgame at 7pm had you not been on tonight. The most Ron can carry a show for is an hour and that's being generous, otherwise people tune out. Ron really dropped the ball on the Kumar Rocker question tonight. The guy could really benefit from a computer class at a local community college. How uninformed!
Re: Ron Cameron
Does Ron even own a device that could connect him to the internet? I can picture him getting the latest baseball scores off the teletype machine.Mr.Transistor wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 10:46 pm Ron really dropped the ball on the Kumar Rocker question tonight. Re: Ron Cameron
How can the Tigers' powers that be, who are trying to silence Ron - the one voice in Detroit sports media telling it like it is - be so unaware that Ron's been carrying Avila's water ever since he was nice to him once?! No wonder Ron is so irate.

Re: Ron Cameron
After following this thread for a long time, I've got information that I'm surprised no one has mentioned. RON IS CORRECT. Podcasts of his WDTK shows are available. I found them by entering "Ron Cameron Sports" in Google and on the first page no less, I found a link to www.audible.com with the previous week's show listed. (Granted they're posted Ron-Style with the "first hour" lasting 1 hour and 56 minutes. Downloading the "first" hour and hour number three will give the listener the complete show. August 1, 2021's broadcast has two entries for "hour 1.") Unlike an "official" WDTK podcast, these recordings have a finite life of one week as they're replaced by the newer show. Here's the link: https://www.audible.com/pd/Sports-Talk- ... B08K57G3YD
Re: Ron Cameron
Thanks for the update & link!! It's not what Ron promoted, but it's something for those who can't listen live (& have an Amazon account).
Re: Ron Cameron
Thanks for the link to Audible. It works to be able to listen to what everyone has posted about. It is kinda funny that on a weekend Ron couldn’t make it down to Comerica Park! Now, I get it, the Tigers are afraid of Ron (as he claims!). These people are probably like “Who???!!!”
Re: Ron Cameron
It's now on the station's local podcasts page:ShempLives wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 11:20 pm After following this thread for a long time, I've got information that I'm surprised no one has mentioned.
