I'm trying to remember the name of the guy who used to e-mail several times a show when Ron was on WDTK. I think he was real because he called in one day.
Chris from Livonia? Even though he's mostly an e-mailer, Chris has been a caller. I'm not claiming that all of Ron's e-mails are fake, but I'm fairly certain that e-mailer "Brian," who's emerged only since Ron's most recent hiatus ended, is really Martin. And unlike Ron & his "insurance company" questions, Martin's making no effort to sell "Brian" as the real deal. I don't even think he's given him a city of residence, which Ron typically insists on knowing.

Ron is such a joke.He sells advertising so that he can buy 4 hours of air time and talk sports .He has at most 5 callers and i would guess not more than 50 listeners. Why doesn't he just quit.Call Kurt and talk baseball with him privately. It would be so much easier. The only entertainment value that Ron brings is being the but of jokes on the buzzboard.

Chuck from Belleville. I re-listened to some shows I downloaded in early 2017 and they read one of his e-mails. I listened to a couple of shows from January 2017 and it felt like a Golden Age compared to now. Good calls from Cowboy from Windsor, J.J. from Lincoln Park, and Ken from Livonia (saying "real quick"). Lots of announcements for upcoming guests. Alex as producer.

Ron also was confidently announcing the opening of his Home Run Pizza in the food court at the Laurel Park Place Mall in Livonia. I was looking forward to that because it's very near to where I live. Probably a good idea he didn't open, because that food court died many years ago.

Oh, yes, Chuck from Belleville. He hasn’t been heard from lately. Was Walter also a caller on any of the broadcasts from the halcyon days for the show? He would have to bring up the fact that he was blind every now & then since Ron, who really doesn’t give a whit about his “fans,” couldn’t be bothered with such details. I suspect the late (??) Gutterball Tony was no longer a regular by then. I’ve wondered if Mr. Positive’s frequent use of “real quick” was his homage to Ken.

Was one of his future guests Ron was promoting then Bob Delaney, the former NBA referee who wrote a book about “putting away the Mob”? For literally over a year, Ron regularly promoted him as a coming guest. He never appeared on the show.

Took a break for a bit while R sizzle was off the air but it looks like Ron’s Twitter account was taking a few shots at momo interesting for a Twitter Page of that magnitude to do that. I will be listening today maybe it will make the air?

Welcome back!!! I've been too busy posting from my basement to even notice that I got Martin's attention. As to why I won't "call in and talk[,]'" Martin must have missed my posts about being banned by Ron from calling. There have been two already & I fear the consequences of yet another one.

What does Ron know that he keeps repeating that Matt Shepherd "needs" his job?! He doesn't say that about anyone else.

What it is with Matt shepherd getting the Ron C Blake Griffin treatment. It’s a local gig, does fine I think. I don’t think he was fired from Michigan if I recall. It was the Tiger gig that I believe had to make him leave that job

Wish they had better sound tools. I keep having to change the volume on the show.

That explains Chuck's absence—all of his radios are probably tuned to WDTK.

"This station is a joke." Ron's response to everything. If only he looked in the mirror.
