The hypocrisy of dealing with unborn children
Re: The hypocrisy of dealing with unborn children
At some point they're going to have to land on one side of the fence or another. Either the unborn baby is a person wothry of protection and rights or it is just a collection of cells.
Re: The hypocrisy of dealing with unborn children
Not every "collection of cells" is a person. Some "collections of cells" are plants, some are animals.
At some point, the "collection of cells" in a womb turns into a person. The debate is if that starts at conception, prior to conception, or after birth.
Going back to the original post, if the local prosecutor in the case is going to charge the trooper with harming that "collection of cells" then they need to be consistent with other cases where harming similar "collections of cells" happens.

It’s most certainly an animal. Human arrogance separates us out but that’s not reality.Bidengirl wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 2:50 pmIt’s always human. There’s no disputing that.km1125 wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 2:00 pmNot every "collection of cells" is a person. Some "collections of cells" are plants, some are animals.

It’s not a plant or animal.
Re: The hypocrisy of dealing with unborn children
That is similar to saying that if you support a womans's right to choose, you are supporting legalized murder of unborn babies.
