I thought Martin did a good job of talking with Ron. Those two sounded very cordial—they've come a long with since that flare-up a few months ago.

I had to smile at a couple of lines by Ron today:
  • One of the restaurant people wanting him "in the worst way." Double meaning alert!
  • Seeing a lot of empty seats at Comerica Park yesterday. You mean, in addition to the 32,000 seats that were supposed to be empty?

Agreed. In small bites (might "Large Bites" be the name of the new eatery?), answering Martin's questions, Ron almost seemed normal.

With the promise of the "upscale" deli, Ron may become too big for this popsicle stand.

I hope Ron is ok and just needs some rest. You know, WPON could have just ran repeats of his show and no one would probably notice. Too bad WPON doesn’t have a cassette tape recorder to keep all the archival footage.

Well Friday and Saturday’s will be different for a bit. Since it was mentioned that Ron may call in tomorrow, assume Martin holding down the shift but just playing music for the time being?

We're going to need to assign a correspondent to the Ram's Horn beat to monitor any of Ron's comings & goings over the next month.

It’s been kind of a routine for me listening to R-sizzle over time, yes we will need some updates over the month.

Was wondering if the pandemic advertising dollar was getting light. Have to give credit on getting any companies to commit, especially a small am radio station that really is picked up mostly online

I spent some time today reviewing this thread (a highly enjoyable exercise, btw) & Ron's "obituary" was oft-predicted in the past year, especially when he was off 10 weeks last year (also starting late in March), so it may well be that reports of his "death" continue to be "greatly exaggerated." At least I hope so. And Ron"s "support" here may even help him with keeping or attracting advertisers.

Yes reading back it’s been quite a history for looking back on the posts.

As much as we give Mr. Cameron grief, we listen on Friday’s and Saturday’s sounds like we have a Ron Cameron fan club going :)

I wonder if anyone will swoop in and take these lucrative radio spots.

As we enter into our 2nd week in the wilderness, can Alex shed any light on what's going on?
