I have a voice for silent films, so I'll pass, thanks. I remember Cowboy pitching the idea from time to time to Ron about Ron having him as guest. Ron ignored him.

Re: Ron Cameron
Ron will have other press people doing things for him at Tiger games, thus he won’t have to go?
Re: Ron Cameron
Not this story again about Chris Ilitch & the legendary Scoop.
Re: Ron Cameron
Where did Ron get this idea that you have to be tested first before getting the vaccine?!
Re: Ron Cameron
In his dreams is Ron ("who?") Cameron "controversial."
Re: Ron Cameron
As always, the drama queen. If all goes well with his first shot, he should be on tomorrow. I remember when he once got into a minor fender bender, but in his retelling - more than once - his condition was "touch & go"!
Re: Ron Cameron
Because it's not true. From my research on Newspapers.com, Dave Diles had a regular sports talk show in Detroit from early 1967 to at least early 1969.
I won't even try to guess what Ron meant by "full-time".
Re: Ron Cameron
I was hoping that someone would push Ron's buttons today over Frank Beckmann's last day at WJR, and I wasn't disappointed.
First Mr. Positive talked about it being a "sad day," which provoked a Classic Cameron outburst: "I don't give a rat's you-know-what, so why even mention him!"
Then Martin read my e-mail about Beckmann claiming to host the first sports talk radio show in Detroit, resulting in another mini-explosion from Ron and his false claim that he had the first full-time sports talk show in Detroit (Dave Diles was on several years before Ron).
Then Martin perversely asked Ron if he would like to have Beckmann on his show, knowing full well what Ron would answer.

Re: Ron Cameron
I wonder if Ron would be provoked to be told on-air that - as it's been posted here, at least - Mark Wilson has been heard on other radio shows. But the classic blow-ups are always with his non-Alex producer "coming in" on him and, in Ron's mind, plotting to wrest control of his gold mine of a radio show.
Re: Ron Cameron
A Stevie Wonder, Indy 500 reference. It's been too long.
Re: Ron Cameron
I love it when Kurt interrupts Ron's stories.
Re: Ron Cameron
We need to start a campaign to get Ron named to replace Jim Price on the Tigers games.
Re: Ron Cameron
Mr.Positive never disappoints.Another momo refetence.Ron's shows stinks but Mt.Positive and Momo have got me listening again.
Re: Ron Cameron
Been distracted, but just heard Ron says he repeats his stories - this one about how Gordie still knew him at the end - because, apparently, his audience keeps growing.
Re: Ron Cameron
The theme of today's show - that which I heard, at least - seemed to be how George Kell butchered so many names.
