I'm at a total loss for words here...
I'm here for a good, hearty debate, to agree and disagree respectfully, and commiserate on the current state of terrestrial radio.

I remember people predicting way back that Kwame would someday be Mayor of Detroit again. Now that could happen. Mike Duggan's days as mayor may be numbered. Maybe Duggan made an enemy of Trump. Les is right about Karma. Treat people unfairly and expect scorched earth. Box people into a corner and see what happens. A person who has very little hope becomes desperate. Nothing left to lose. He should pardon Julian Assange tomorrow too. If they are going to impeach him anyway after he leaves office to try to prevent him from running again, he might as well anyway. Unconstitutional as it would be. He can't act according to a RINO promise. Never trust a RINO.
Disagreeing with Communists is NOT an impeachable offense.

Well Detroiters are going to have a big a decision to make. Continue to make progress, or take the path direct to America's worst shithole, which would be inevitable if Kwame returns to power.

If they make that fateful decision, I wonder what happens to all the investments that Gilbert, IIlitches, and Ford have made

Pathetic.

Does that mean Kwame could run for mayor again this year, or not until 2025?

IIRC, he can't run for office, at least in Michigan.

I know several that spent a heck of lot less time in jail for attempted murder of a friend of mine.

8 years was probably an appropriate sentence for Kwame. He has a lot of debt to pay and can't do that in jail.

audio -- MI law states that he cannot run for any public office for 20 years after his conviction.

He has around seven to eight years before he can run again at the very least. Will he do it? I sure as hell hope not...

Agreed. I don't think he was anywhere close to being deserving of a pardon/commutation.

I'm convinced that this move was simply nothing more than a giant "FUCK YOU" from Trump to all of Michigan since he lost here.

Practically everyone he issued pardons to last night, and all throughout his presidency, were absolutely undeserving of one.
