Trump TV
Trump TV
Why is Sinclair sucking up to President Trump? Could it be positioning itself for a post-presidency talk show on Sinclair-run stations?
From the New Yorker magazine:
https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2020 ... rd-to-lose
“ Barbara Res, the former Trump Organization employee, and a number of other former Trump associates believe that, if the President is defeated, he will again try to launch some sort of media venture. A Democratic operative in New York with ties to Republican business circles told me that Bernard Marcus—the billionaire co-founder of Home Depot and a Trump supporter—has been mentioned recently as someone who might back a second iteration of a Trump-friendly media platform. Through a spokesperson, Marcus didn’t rule out the idea. He said that, to date, he has not been involved, but added, “It may be necessary going into the future, and it’s a great idea.” Speculation has focussed on Trump’s joining forces with one of two existing nationwide pro-Trump mouthpieces: Sinclair and the One America News Network...”
Screw an independent media... it appears 25-66 and it’s sister stations are part of the swamp Trump media sycophants.

Re: Trump TV
Why not buy NewsMax TV which is anything that isn't a news network just talk radio host and Docs and very low budget that is NewsMax TV. I haven't ever watch OAN and where would Sinclair put Trump TV network on?

Re: Trump TV
Master: now that Sinclair is at its FCC cap for local TV station ownership... and the FCC continues to slap millions of dollars in fines against Sinclair... SBG has been concentrating its expansion/acquisition strategy on cable, streaming and digital properties. SBG owner David Smith and CEO Chris Ripley see value in the national platforms that don’t compete directly with local sales. But Sinclair also finds value in Ring of Honor Wrestling... so their judgment is questionable at best.

SDNY has their own post-presidential plans for Trump.
Re: Trump TV
Start buying stock in Court TV. The Trump Case will have huuuuuge ratings! It’ll eclipse OJ Simpson as the trial of the century.
Re: Trump TV
Ring Of Honor Wrestling is very low budget and Sinclair is cheap when it comes to ROH.

Re: Trump TV
25-1 is also very cheap... but for a very different reason: indifference from station and corporate managers who love their must-run programming and Mid-Michigan NOW! lame rebranding campaign. Pretty soon they’ll replace Dave snd Stephanie with the Briscoe (ROH reference)

Re: Trump TV
TBD Fox17 WXMI in the GR/West Michigan TV market has it on .5 I saw it on Wiki also has Charge TV on .4 which Tribune signed with Charge TV when the failed merger with Sinclair happened. Kinda surprised that WWMT didn't take Charge TV for .4 since Sinclair owns WWMT they do have Comet which is .3 since day one.

Rugrats: Scripps is expanding news (at its Lansing station WSYM) and just announced that its giving workers bonuses:

Yes, Scripps is a much-better run station than Sinclair, which continues its strategy of layoffs, pay freezes and not filling positions to increase its profit margins for the Smith family over the well-being of its employees.
