Read all about it!
Even after Biden prematurely declares "victory", Matt's "Utopia" has exploded in BLM "Unrest" (Riots)!
See, it will never end, once it starts.

They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

As illegal WHC (we hate cops) gatherings go this was peaceful in that no significant property damage occured and no one was violently assaulted as far as I know.

Oh, like all those marijuana vaping "Community Bong" shops set to open to keep the kids' minds numb and dumb?

People have a right to eat in peace. Peace, isn't that what the hippies wanted? Restaurant patrons are outside, so called "social distancing", which makes it difficult to control the obtrusive demonstrators/rioters who confront them. I predict that this will hurt these restaurants, if Winter doesn't.craig11152 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 7:55 amAs illegal WHC (we hate cops) gatherings go this was peaceful in that no significant property damage occured and no one was violently assaulted as far as I know.

I don't disagree with most of your point. I did call it illegal in that there was no permit issued to block city streets.

Most of the downtown streets have been closed down on the weekend since June.craig11152 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 8:37 amI don't disagree with most of your point. I did call it illegal in that there was no permit issued to block city streets.

Re: Ann Arbor, Bastion Of Liberalism, Explodes In "Unrest"
Despite the fact that I spent just two years too many of my life in Ann Arbor, I know quite a bit about the politics there. Back in the day, Fred Postill was running for Sheriff. Next to the TA cubicles, euphemistically called carrels, in one department I used to frequent, there were posters on the wall that said "Vote Fred Postill For Sheriff, with a picture of Fred. Under the slogan, someone penned in "or he'll beat your head in".
I also used to frequently have lunch back in the day with a member of the Ann Arbor City Council, one of the few Republicans, maybe the last.
So really I know a lot. Don't know when they moved Planned Parenthood and closed the Lansky Junkyard, which were along my travels. I remember seeing college age girls going in and out of PP from the end of Sunset, which overlooked it. I naively thought they were just going there for birth control prescriptions.

I'm sure both will affect the restaurants and other businesses there. Didn't see this on the local news (why not?), but it won't take much for patrons to realize they have other choices.TC Shuts Up wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 8:05 amPeople have a right to eat in peace. I must have missed the law that says such events are illegal...craig11152 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 7:55 amAs illegal WHC (we hate cops) gatherings go this was peaceful in that no significant property damage occured and no one was violently assaulted as far as I know.

You need a permit to occupy city streets as pedestrians. Without a permit it's illegal. But the cops aren't about to enforce the law. it's sort of like driving 79-80 on the freeway. Chances are the cops won't pull you over.Rate This wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 2:57 pmI must have missed the law that says such events are illegal...craig11152 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 7:55 amAs illegal WHC (we hate cops) gatherings go this was peaceful in that no significant property damage occured and no one was violently assaulted as far as I know.
Did you actually think pedestrians can occupy streets and block traffic any time they feel like it and it's all completely legal?

Disturbing the peace? Disorderly conduct? In the second video, it shows vehicles in the street (parked), so I'm assuming that road was not closed, but yet there were protesters walking down the street blocking traffic. I'm sure there's a law against that too.Rate This wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 2:57 pmI must have missed the law that says such events are illegal...craig11152 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 7:55 amAs illegal WHC (we hate cops) gatherings go this was peaceful in that no significant property damage occured and no one was violently assaulted as far as I know.
