RT - you're calling him a criminal. Which tax law did Trump violate? Which one?
I'll say it again and again until I sound like a broken record: if you have a problem with the amount of money someone legally paid in taxes, then take that up with the people who wrote the tax code, NOT the people who took advantage of it. I don't know why this is such a difficult concept for so many people.
Rate, bmw is correct. Who passes tax laws? Congress. Democrats and Republicans. Every one of them a millionaire.
I'm sure even you can comprehend why our tax laws allow the rich to duck and dodge paying their fair share.

Considering Cyrus Vance is looking into financial crimes I wouldn’t bet Evan a penny that he didn’t break any laws. You are acting like he’s some sort of upstanding guy against all the evidence in the world. Without his tax returns in full we cannot know for certain what he may have violated. Unlike the folks on the above list he won’t tell us. He’s hiding something clearly.
What those who insist this is just a normal occurrence in the application of the tax code fail to mention is an appreciation of how craptastic a businessman you have to be to claim chronic losses enough to sustain paying little to no taxes over a 15 year period. Truly mind boggling, but then again we are talking about someone who managed the almost impossible feat of managing a casino into bankruptcy. If that weren't enough according to the report he's on the hook for some $300M in personal loan liability in the next two years. Astounding.
But to turn that long arc of failure into a giant refund check, he relied on some deft accounting footwork and an unwitting gift from an unlikely source — Mr. Obama.
Business losses can work like a tax-avoidance coupon: A dollar lost on one business reduces a dollar of taxable income from elsewhere. The types and amounts of income that can be used in a given year vary, depending on an owner’s tax status. But some losses can be saved for later use, or even used to request a refund on taxes paid in a prior year.
Until 2009, those coupons could be used to wipe away taxes going back only two years. But that November, the window was more than doubled by a little-noticed provision in a bill Mr. Obama signed as part of the Great Recession recovery effort. Now business owners could request full refunds of taxes paid in the prior four years, and 50 percent of those from the year before that.
I think its hilarious that all you terminal TDS sufferers think Trump sits down and logs into ol' TurboTax and starts punching in numbers. I also have to ask: how many of you pass up credits or tax advantages when filing your own taxes? I'm especially puzzled by the fact that RT posted the amount the dumb dems paid, as if paying more taxes is somehow honorable?

Federal income taxes paid in 2017 (jointly with spouse):
Joe Biden - $3,742,974
Kamala Harris - $516,469
Bernie Sanders - $343,882
Elizabeth Warren - $268,484
Donald Trump - $750
All of the Democrats returns are publicly available.
Hard working ordinary people pay their taxes. His opponents pay theirs. It’s insulting that someone like a teacher or even a waiter pays more in taxes.
If those ordinary people pulled this they’d never see the light of day. This isn’t being “smart” it’s being a fucking mooch and a criminal.
Why isn't anyone questioning how these people are making that much money? Also, Dementia Joe hasn't been employed in years. RT posts this like its honorable. It seems to me that they are incompetent or are getting income from elsewhere. I don’t believe that ALL of their spouses are making so much money as to render the Senators employment a wash...

Their records and sources of income are public knowledge. Biden’s came from book sales and speaking fees. You can twist yourself into a pretzel to excuse this but it’s not working.

Check your TDS.
Also, no comment on how Trump has donated nearly $1.6M to charity the last four years?

RT, why do you waste your time arguing with these stooges? They will never change their mind. The one thing this disgraceful, treasonous, disaster of a president actually had right was when he said, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters". He was talking about these idiots.

Trump doesn’t sit down every year with some tax software on his home computer and look up his income and deductions and enter them like you schlubs do. He has an ARMY of ACCOUNTANTS AND LAWYERS who prepare it. And he has for 50 years or more. Sure, most people don’t understand the laws. And it may look like something is suspicious, but if you understand the law, you’ll find it’s completely legal, and much was passed by Democrats. Going through that much material will take a long time, but it’s guaranteed to all be legal.
