Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update on October 30. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email. I have responded to all password reset requests received through 6a ET on November 7. You should see an email from the "Admin" email account.

November 9 update: Due to app errors, I have disabled the Tapatalk plug-in. As such, the Buzzboard is currently unavailable in Tapatalk. I am trying to do a clean reinstall, but each reinstall attempt is generating database errors. I am hopeful that the issue will be able to be resolved in the next few days.

Thank you for your patience!

The appeals court has upheld the governors continued use of emergency powers.. strike 2 for the legislature.
Cite those cases.
The first was the judge in Detroit, this is the appeal. Too bad.
RT is the #1 fan of government overreach.
I’m a fan of stating facts. I didn’t take a position but twice now the government overreach position has lost.

In his dissent, Tukel wrote that the Emergency Powers of Governor Act and the Emergency Management Act must be viewed as a package. And that the 28-day duration for a state of emergency without legislative approval as set out in the Emergency Management Act, should be the requirement that controls for both laws.

The governor is also violating the separation of powers requirements of the state constitution by exercising powers delegated to the Legislature, Tukel wrote.

Smackdown on governor today?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/michi ... d=msedgntp

The easiest route for Michigan Supreme Court is to say there is no emergency and the governor's unilateral actions may have caused more deaths due her EO's putting Covid-19 positive people in nursing homes.

I was speaking with a young woman originally from Washington state and she said your governor is a nutcase.

She doesn't even live in the state...

MSC arguments going badly for governor:

Her lawyer is pretty bad, talks in circles, makes point of Wisconsin, flailing hands constantly.

The funniest thing is when he said "..if don't like what governor is doing you can sue her"...oh wait!

You're making my point :lol

I'm hopeful the MSC changes that. She is a tyrant.

Whitmer is caterwauling because she is about lose her overreach :barf
Of course, it's just bologna:
Unlock Michigan spokesman Fred Wszolek said the governor's contention is “nonsensical, unless you assume that the governor would be completely unable to persuade the Legislature to continue a single one of her pandemic policies. Our proposal doesn’t revoke any of her policies; we simply revoke her authority to impose her policies by decree, bypassing the Legislature."

Republicans including Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey have questioned the reasoning behind Whitmer's orders and have said no businesses, including movie theaters, should still be closed.

Read the bottom paragraph... that’s the exact reason she won’t give it up. She thinks she knows better than Shirkey and co. how to manage this... on that she’s probably right. We will fare worse in a second wave with them at the helm.

It’s a little early yet. Especially here. Let’s see what happens November-March. To declare anybody didn’t have a second wave is premature. Oh and I’m not getting any funny infections from those out there websites of yours. Find a mainstream website talking about Sweden and we can talk about it.

...as was you declaring that Sweden got it wrong - at which time I said just wait - they'll be over their Coronavirus well before anybody else is. Since late July, Sweden has only been averaging TWO deaths per day related to Covid, and in September specifically, they've had quite a few zero-death days.

In fact, since the beginning of July, Sweden's daily death toll has been back to the low-side of its 5-year average. This per Sweden's official government numbers:
