Let’s see:

Anchors - delete Fanchon Stinger, add either Art VanDyke or Rick Lockridge

Meteorologist - add Mike Hoffman

Sports - add Marc Wesley

Reporters - don’t remember Paul Newton. Liz and Rachel, I remember the names but that’s about it. Add Brian Wood and Roberta Wray.

Some others who reached heights via Channel 5's WNEM days...varied levels of notability...

Pat Harvey was there around 1980 for her first job, went to CNN in its infancy and is now on CBS' Los Angeles affiliate and pitches in on "The Talk."

Seeing him now in our thread starter's 2nd spot, Zip Rzeppa was on the Sports team with Marc Wesley (nothing better than the slate for Sports sponsor Blatz Beer and Marc winking when he read this copy) and went on to Cincinnati, Boston and St. Louis, where he is a Media HOFer.

There was a guy named Peterson in the late 70s who could wear News or Sports hats equally well. Whether he stayed before the cameras in any fashion elsewhere, I cannot say.

Why would you bring this up, I mean other than the fact that you're an asshole?

Little tip for you, I do whatever I want whenever I want and don't ask your approval to do so.
And then you proved you're a giant asshole? Here's a tip for you: If you can't come up with a relevant addition to a post, move on from said post.

Peyton and Waters were not meteorologists. They were just guys who read the weather, while John McMurray was the meteorologist providing the forecasts.

Must have been the thing to do.

Eric Ghila was never a meteorologist, just a “weather forecaster.” But who needs to be a meteorologist anyway?
It's Eric Jylha. And he's a great guy.

The queen of spelling and correction goofs. Again. Now go back and edit so no one notices it.
