I thought his phone interview was surprising - basically saying the employee was a dud.

Re: Fieger Legal Trouble?
Who's going to fight for her? Will it be Mike Morse vs. Fieger round 2?
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I heard a promo for Mike's sister's "Sex with Emily" podcast on SXM. I will not be listening...

She hired noted employment attorney Deborah Gordon, who I think is the daughter of Detroit media personality Lou Gordon.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 10:54 pm Who's going to fight for her? Will it be Mike Morse vs. Fieger round 2?

Live by the sword, die by the sword.
If she was a dud, why did he hire her?
I didn't know that he lived in the Caribbean. If he's working from there, why can't she work from home for a short time? He better settle. This will do a lot of damage to his career and reputation if this all comes out in trial. That's my legal opinion. I just play a lawyer on TV though.

I don't know if she was a dud or not. But it seems to me in that line of work, like athletes there is a sort of playing field where you either win or lose.
I'd think it would be pretty easy to quantify.

Re: Fieger Legal Trouble?
I would guess she has a "file". If she quit or refused to work without siting covid-19, she probably shouldn't be in the legal world.

If he ran today the Democrats would love him because the Democrats are as slimy as he is.
Re: Fieger Legal Trouble?
Lots of radio people now work from home, with voice tracking, etc., now the virus. Except for court appearances and depositions/despotitions, many of which could now be handled with video conferencing anyway, many attorneys now work from home, using the internet. Many are so squeezed financially they have no regular offices, and share conference rooms with many lawyers. Fieger is certainly not in court if he's in the Caribbean. How would he get back physically if he had to? A lot easier for this woman at home with her son here in Michigan.

Re: Fieger Legal Trouble?
Fieger was such a bad candidate that he:
Lost Washtenaw County (home to Ann Arbor) by 14%
Lost Ingham County (home to Lansing and East Lansing) by 20%
May have lost suburban Wayne County (he won Wayne County by 14% overall but received around 85% of the vote in the City of Detroit)
Only received 15% of the vote in Ottawa County (even in deep-red Ottawa County, Democrats generally crack 25-30% in statewide races)
Received less than 25% of the vote in Kent County (home to Grand Rapids)
Re: Fieger Legal Trouble?
If Fieger was really running his business from the Caribbean, you'd think Mike Morse would be having a field day with that in his ads.

Lawyers and prosecutors almost always make bad candidates, and for certain make bad governors and presidents in modern times!
