Re: Ron Cameron
Which makes his fetish for correcting others, particularly Kurt, so rich.
David Newman respected Ron?! Puhleeze.

David Newman was not fired by WJR. He could not come back after his stroke.

Re: Ron Cameron
With Ray calling in so late, will Ron have the time to bring up the JFK story?
Re: Ron Cameron
Repeating the Geezers at Caesar's story twice in less than an hour. That's got to be a record.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ray Scott is his great friend, but Ron had no idea that he's been married 40 years. And when informed of this new development, Ron asks Ray to remember him to her!
Re: Ron Cameron
You know his guest merry go round is really bad when you can tell the story before Ron even tells it himself

Re: Ron Cameron
Whatever happened to Ron's best friend last summer Ramon Santiago? Every show we'd hear about Ramon every 5 minutes and I haven't heard him say his name in months.

Re: Ron Cameron
What search engine is Martin using that he could not find the Tiger game was in a rain delay and within 10 minutes of the show starting, then canceled until tomorrow? Ron seemed like he just wanted to mail in today's show. I still don't understand why a 75 year old man would be out hunting in pursuit of a restaurant purchase during a pandemic. Seems a little crazy to me and everyone else. Also this Dave from Warren pronouncing Jay Leno as "Jay Lee-no" and Ron quickly correcting him say it's "Leno" . I really think he does this sort of stuff on purpose. Thank goodness Kurt did not hog all the airtime for the 1st hour. I tuned out after the 1st hour, since Ron seemed to mail in the show.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron's been talking about a decision on a new restaurant for what seems like a couple of years now, with an announcement always imminent. I think his last restaurant - which, typically, opened & closed in short order - was in Livonia. Particularly now, I wouldn't hold my breath that yet another restaurant will materialize soon, if ever.

Re: Ron Cameron
I have a feeling Martin knows nothing about sports because he couldn't even pronounce Casey Mize and that's why Ron gets along with him for the most part while Matt was a pretty big sports fan and would have an opinion and Ron didn't like that.
Someone needs to ask how many restaurants that he has owned over his career?

I've been out of the loop, for awhile now. Could somebody tell me what station and time is Ron on the air? Thanks!

Wtfdetroit - thanks for posting that info, have not listened to the train wreck in quite awhile. Gonna try to remember to catch it Friday.
Momo - liked that Waldorf Astoria reference. Still chuckling about that.

Majik, whenever is very busy schedule allows, Ron will dine at the Waldorf Astoria with his fellow resident, former president Herbert Hoover, who has kept an apartment there since his presidency ended.
