97.1 radio signal interference
97.1 radio signal interference
When driving home through Detroit, 97.1 is getting interference from a music station. This occurs from Jefferson, all of the way north to Davison and sometimes beyond. It is very annoying on some days and unlistenable. Anyone know what station might be causing this? I'm assuming it is Canadian. How can you have a Detroit sports station that you can't listen to in Detroit?

Re: 97.1 radio signal interference
Could be the LPFM on 96.7 from the New Center area.
Could be intermod from nearby strong signals.
If it is co-channel interference, the most likely candidate is WREO from Ashtabula, OH.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Thanks. It's only on sunny days, so probably not 96.7. I'll just stream it from my phone.
