This was arranged by Charles Calello, short time Four Seasons member, and long time arranger. He was trying to keep up with the times when hard rock, folk, and psychedelia had taken over, only for disco and light adult contemporary to come back with a vengeance a few years later. Sugar Loaf (RIP Jerry Corbetta) was another example from the era. By 1976, even Paul McCartney threw in the towel with the somewhat era autobiographical "Silly Love Songs", "and what's wrong with that?"
Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?

The group Bullet had members of Atomic Rooster. Their other songs were "Willpower Weak, Temptation Strong" & the remake of The Music Explosion 1967 song "Little Bit Of Soul". All were release on Big Tree Records (Division of AMPEX or Bell Records) ONLY as 45 singles & there was NO self - titled album!!!

Not only do I remember White Lies, Blue Eyes, I played it on the air as a current hit in 1971 and still play it on the air today. Along with Willpower Weak, Temptation Strong. Also played the Grin song White Lies on the air as a current in 1972 (Top 10 in Grand Rapids) and still play that today too.

Nils Lofgren said "Take Me" near the end of the song!! Also T. Rex (the late Marc Bolan) also said "Take Me" on "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" also in 1972!!
