I wish he and his clients used a better mask. His nose was visible.
Other than that, this man had no alternative.

Also an interview with the barber: https://nbc25news.com/news/coronavirus/ ... ate-police
Re: Owosso barber
Completely agree. Republicans have a stronger background on public health. #ricksnyder #flintwatercrisis
Re: Owosso barber
The lead became a problem after they ran acidic Flint River water through the pipes stripping the protective coating off. There was no lead problem before Snyder's Administration ran Flint River water through those pipes. The ignorance in the Flint area baffles me.
For Kristian Trumpers are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

Re: Owosso barber
Nice try, R. But the Republican Gov. Snyder imposed state emergency managers were in charge when the Flint Water Crisis started. But don’t let facts get in the way of the story you’re peddling. You like to blame the “media” for getting it wrong... when it’s you who can’t get basic, well-established facts right.

Re: Owosso barber
Here's a decent video. Also there is link there that the sheriff won't enforce the governor's orders.

I'm so tempted to take a drive down to Owosso for a haircut. But he's probably gonna be super busy.
Re: Owosso barber
I’m sure this case will get appealed all the way to the state Supreme Court.
Re: Owosso barber
How could Granholm have known about an issue that didn’t exist until almost 6 years after her last term as governor ended?R Bedell wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 9:25 amTell the whole truth. HYPOCRITE.....Yet you are here blaming the Republicans. You like to blame the “media” for getting it wrong... when it’s you who can’t get basic, well-established facts right.
Had you done some real Investigative Journalsim, you may have found the former DEMOCRAT Governor Granholm knew of the Flint water problem during her Administration and did ............. NOTHING.
I am glad you made your comments. It just confirms what I have been thinking, in that the DNC Talking Heads prevail, parroting the DNC Narrative.
Re: Owosso barber
I love the memory loss from some people on the Buzzboard:
2001: In the wake of 9/11, all new restrictions created for air travelers — since then TSA screenings, passenger tracking, shows have to be removed, liquids banned, etc. No complaints about the “loss of liberties” that resulted in the deaths of 3000 people. Plus electronic data monitoring, increases in national and international surveillance.
2020: In the wake of a global pandemic that has infected millions and the deaths of 81000 (and counting) Americans so far... multiple times the number of deaths of 9/11... people are asked to stay home and “non-essential” businesses are shut down for months to slow the spread of the Coronavirus... resulting in protests by largely conservative-leaning groups... the same groups that don’t have problems with the rules/“loss of liberties” put in place since 9/11.
If you’re going to express outrage over “government overreach”, then at least be consistent. Both political parties have taken steps to restrict freedoms in the name of protecting citizens during so-called “wars”. However these protestors lose their credibility when they only complain about the restrictions imposed by members of the opposite political party because it’s just more convenient.

Re: Owosso barber
R: President Trump put the act of terrorism and Coronavirus in the same category when he called the US Government response a “war”. Then, instead of a coordinated national response, he left it up to individual governors to decide state-level response while going to Twitter to criticize Governors of the opposite political party only, despite many of these states working regionally with similar restrictions. Trump is the one needlessly inserting politics into the process. Not that Whitmer is free from criticism... far from it. She has failed to work with legislative leaders to build consensus and a broad support plan to provide a path forward while reducing the disease’s spread. Both sides are to blame. But pretending that the deaths of 81k Americans doesn’t deserve a serious response is also idiotic. But so does relief for workers and businesses who are hurting right now.
