Outa Here
Re: Outa Here
Are you sure you're not retired class or beer-drinking class?
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.
Re: Outa Here
I heard the booming before I could see where it was coming from. I was riding my bike in a park. As I rounded the bend it got much louder and I could see where it was coming from.
There was a pavilion with picnic tables and crowded with black folks. H*** speakers were pounding out hip hop or rap, whatever it's called. I passed a couple who were on their way in with a pan of whatever food they were bringing. I said to the guy, "sounds like a good time."
"It's our church picnic" he said.
Then I listed to the words of the rappers. Sure enough there was sin, salvation and savior. Guess that's what passes for Christian music nowadays.

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

That's something official? Working class are not allowed to own property in more than one country? I could own a ten million dollar mansion in Canada, but not even a hunting cabin in one other country.
Can a middle class own property in more than two countries?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Re: Outa Here
Must be a middle class thing. I've never even heard of it, much less wear one.

Re: Outa Here
Our plan was to leave here April 23. But now we're thinking about getting out of here sooner. It's not that we're afraid of catching the virus, although we probably should be.
It's just that the atmosphere has changed. This was always a carefree kind of place. Now it's a science fiction world where everyone is afraid to go out and everyone is afraid of everyone else. The restaurants and bars are all shuttered and even going shopping for essentials feels like going into battle.
I think I'd be happier at home.

A Canadian lady who just arrived here told me the fear and paranoia is even worse in Canada than it is here.
But if I have to be quarantined,I'd rather be inside my own house than in this tin can.
