Went to copy and paste this and the headline changed and there was another death reported. 4 more today and counting. Getting pretty scary.

China has egg on their face for hiding it, and threating jail to the doctor that discovered it and told his colleagues.

Trump was bold and had the guts to block air traffic from Chinese nationals wanting to enter the country, this is an unprecedented action in scale and scope.

I was a zero but now I'm maybe a 0.75 or 1.
First I'm 68 years old
Second I drive a school bus with a bunch of sweet little Asian kids from North campus. So I wonder about the travel habits of their parents

You’re driving some of the same stuff I subbed on when I worked there... neat. Am I the only one noticing a HIGHER that 2% death rate here in the U.S.?

Is this an honest reaction fuzz or just a knee-jerk because you don't like me, think there is too much hype, etc.? I can understand you not answering 7 and being panicked and hoarding canned goods like some fools, but 0 implies you are not the very least bit concerned, it doesn't phase you in any way. Do you have any $$ invested anywhere? Do you think the warnings from the CDC and HOW are erroneous?

I'll be curious how the epidemiology revels itself here in Arizona. We've just had our third confirmed case that appears to be travel related. Presumably the spread will be somewhat offset by the warm, dry weather but with folks pouring in for baseball Spring Training, and soon the spring break college crowd just ahead, it remains to be seen how this will play out and if in fact climate plays a significant part in terms of holding the instances down. More alarmingly, local heath officials until just a few days ago only had 400-some test kits on hand and half of those were found to be defective. Oy Vey.

Media is hyping this because that’s what they do. The vast majority who catch this do not die, especially in a first world country. Do some actual research and you’ll see this much less serious than Ebola or other scares.

I have not changed my life one iota since this.
