Mike Halloran, fondly remembered for his shows that showcased cutting-edge music, on WDET and WLBS in the 1980s, is returning to Detroit to do a special edition of "Radios in Motion" on Saturday, March 21, with Ann Delisi, on WDET 101.9. The broadcast will be part of WDET's spring fundraising activities.
Later, time to be announced, Mike will be at Third Man Records to meet & greet.

Mike Halloran is one of my favorite DJs of all time, once I discovered him late night on WDET I followed him from radio station to radio station till he moved out west. I even remember during the early days of 88.7 "the Cutting Edge of Rock" there would be on air segments where he and Greg St. James would just talk about old and new bands.
I still have a few recordings of his Radio In Motion show which he recorded in San Diego and played on 98.7 WLLZ late on Sunday night. I should upload those somewhere at some point, maybe make a Youtube channel.
