Let's get serious... the quality was ALWAYS that bad. The quality looks like 256i, at best. Compare that to WMYD's version of that same channel. The engineers and WMNT need to seriously rethink owning this station. They are doing a piss-poor job at maintaining and no progress improving WMNT. Said for years now on here... they are not working in the public interest. Their own interest is not the public's interest. The FCC needs to yank and shred the license, in my opinion.Toledo Eleven wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:13 pm 48.2 has a poor-quality (black and white only) picture of Antenna TV on now (Thursday, 2/6/2020 at 5:10 pm).

Re: Antenna TV gone?
Now that AntennaTV is back on WMNT, looking and sounding good, a question for those of you who get WMNT with an Antenna. Is "This" TV back on 48.3? Buckeye Broadband doesn't show 48.3 anymore. It used to be on cable channel 157 in Ohio. Now, it skips 157 entirely, going from AntennaTV on 156, to Cozi on 158.
Re: Antenna TV gone?
I'm using an antenna and I have only the old 48.2 and 48.4 which show-up as channels in 36 range, but I'll have to do a rescan and let you know. Still no channel info, no close captioning, no correct PSIP so you can punch in 48.2 and it automatically goes to the correct 36.xx channel and shows 48.2, etc. Why aren't there any engineers that give a crap anymore?
Speaking of 36, aren't they part of the 8th repack and will have to move to a new home on the RF dial this year? I'm also having a bad time getting 27 anymore since they moved down the dial.

Re: Antenna TV gone?
Thanks. Yes I think WUPW-TV 36 will move from RF 46 to 26. Not sure if they're on the March 14 timeline that so many other stations are.
Re: Antenna TV gone?
If the PSIP shows 36.x, moving RF's will not solve the WUPW problem, if WUPW switches to 26.x. The 2nd half of the issue is WMNT 36.x RF. Nothing solved if either has duplicated anything as "36.x." Tuners will still be confused and link the channels. Someone needs to stop using "36.x" RF (WMNT) or PSIP (WUPW) as both use that same number. Tuner does not discriminate between RF 36.x and PSIP 36.x.80sTalkRadioFan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:03 pm Thanks. Yes I think WUPW-TV 36 will move from RF 46 to 26. Re: Antenna TV gone?
They should just update their logo and relaunch as WUPW-TV 26 with an intact PSIP on 26.x ...
Re: Antenna TV gone?
Doubt that. WNHO "TV 26" in Defiance would clash as well. Fox 12 (Buckeye's channel)... maybe, until you get closer to Indiana, where there's a 12.x in Auburn. You can get 12.x just west of Swantucky. A good antenna can get it in East Toiletto. So using "26.x" still does not solve the issue.

Re: Antenna TV gone?
A moot point now for WNHO -- they're broadcasting on channel 35 and using a PSIP of 44.x, reflecting its parent station in Lima, WTLW.

No.... they did show as 26.1rugratsonline wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 11:08 pmA moot point now for WNHO -- they're broadcasting on channel 35 and using a PSIP of 44.x, reflecting its parent station in Lima, WTLW.
Last I saw they still had the white 26 inside the blue box too. That was last week. Sometimes rabbitears does not have the proper info.

Yep, I get it quite well OTA in Bedford, it's one of the stronger Detroit market signals.80sTalkRadioFan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 9:57 am WMYD-TV 20 Detroit and it's subchannels are only available on Buckeye Broadband on the Michigan side of the border, namely Bedford township. When I do a zip code search on AntennaTV's website, it says I should be able to get it on 20.2 with an antenna. Will have to try that, as I don't think it'll be back on WMNT any time soon.

As of yesterday, Ch. 48 is finally showing up on all my sets as 48.1, etc. instead of 36.3, etc.

That's nice.... but the joke of a station has no audio as of late. How they are surviving is a mystery to me.Toledo Eleven wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:37 pm As of yesterday, Ch. 48 is finally showing up on all my sets as 48.1, etc. instead of 36.3, etc.
The size of the station makes no difference. WZTS channel 16 is the exact same size... but works it to the bone. That small station in rural WV looks like a "normal" small town station. WMNT needs to take a serious look at channel 16 and learn.
My point- WMNT does not care about anyone. Just like the foriegn owned hotels and carryouts. Run it into the ground for very little profit.
