Rather than allow people to be adults, make their own choices, and live with the consequences, there is a class of people who believe they’re actually “doing something” by limiting choices for adults. They believe in simple solutions, fewer rights, and central control.TheForce wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2019 7:36 am What is banning gonna do? After all, they are all inanimate objects. Those things themselves don't do anything on their own and requires a user.
1. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
2. Plastic bags don't pollute our waterways, people do by not disposing of them properly.
3. Vaping pens don't make people sick, people make themselves sick by choosing to use them.
Personally I think the government has more important things to deal with rather than petty things like this.
These same people would be behind prohibition. Boy, that worked out great!
Rather than people being responsible for their actions, it’s so much easier to just ban something and normally get the opposite result (see gun ban in Chicago).
