FOX2 Mornings hit with the Lue Flu

The last three weeks at FOX 2 have been carried by the Weather Desk.
When so many folks finally had time to tune-in the entire Newsroom shamefully disappeared.
If it wasn't for Alan, DK, Jill-of-all-Trades, Lori, Critic-Lee and Kellie Rowe the place would've been a Ghost Town...
Roadside Robin & Camille got stuck covering the month old 696 ooze, a groundbreaking I-75 traffic shift and the Ryan's u$ual fluff pieces (Science Center, Zap Zone, Auto Dealer Show, etc...) almost zero Reporting.
While the new GM is busy approving Vacation Requests the real news discovering talent ML Elrick walked!
Amy, Deena, Jay and Roop display work ethic, the rest should just stay on Vacation.

Was just talking about folks saving all their vacation time and then all wanting to take it at the end of the year because they'd lost it... almost seems that's what happened here.

It's nice though to see some variety in the match-ups on screen though.

Come on. It's the holidays. Whether you feel they should be on, like they work retail, they deserve vacations also. I bet Deena takes off the entire week of July 4th or more during the summer or spring. A lot of people don't pay attention to TV or radio news during the 2 week holiday, because they are also off of work, without their regular schedule, so the GM knows that it is not a big deal.

It was nice seeing a new face. You could tell she was trying really hard to fit and I thought she filled in decently enough. I'm partial to Deena though.

I think I figured out Longstreets "creep" factor. I never really saw it but have heard that from many folks, so I've tried to look for things that might make me feel that way. Today I noticed his posture (shoulders leaning forward) and the way he tilts his head and looks at the camera resembles how you see the "creepy folks" in kids programs. As soon as I saw that, I said to myself 'ah-ha! That's it!"

As stated on this board many times.. The site of Maurielle Lue makes me immediately change the channel. I ask myself daily why don’t they cut her loose??

Probably because she’s hot and attracts the African American viewers in this area.

Notice how the station always exploits her um, well, assets.
