Also noted that the call sign WJNE appears to be reserved on the FCC call sign site; that is its not officially assigned to anyone at this point, but unavailable for others to use. Maybe for a different reason, but still...EdWalker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 12:10 pm https://www.whois.com/whois/jeny1073.com
Of course anyone can register a domain just to get tongues wagging.
Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update last night. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email.

The End of 107.3 The Wave Cleveland

Hmm? That's what I am thinking it could be.
Re: The End of 107.3 The Wave Cleveland
(480) 624-2599 listed on the domain record. Its "Domains By Proxy." A real broadcast entity probably will have a real number listed. Maybe I'm wrong. The spelling of "Jeny" might also give something away. "Jenny1073" might be more credible for a broadcast entity. I'm thinking it's not the new "Wave" station's. Yes, anyone can... and it looks anyone but Rubber City, WNWV, or any new owners did. Just sayin'. This apple is not a turkey sandwich... so let's not call it that.EdWalker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 12:10 pm https://www.whois.com/whois/jeny1073.com

So you are thinking a Hot AC? Q104 is close, as it is Adult CHR. Would be great to see a competitor to 96.5 in Akron. Hear allot about too many spots on 96.5... but that's usual for iHeart.
Re: The End of 107.3 The Wave Cleveland
Just what if....
This was a stunt? What if the Wave continued and this was a a gimmick to take away from Star?
Just a thought... True or not.
The firing of the staff has been done before and rehired. Yeah, it got the public's attention.

Ahh, yes I forgot all about GKB flipping their Country station in Milwaukee to ESPN. Mr. Karmazin loves his ESPN, for better or for worse. I could’ve sworn C-Bus had another Country station....well, maybe Saga should be seeing a Yuuuuuge format hole then! Rewind has horrible ratings anymore.
I still don’t know about putting Alternative on that signal. Nationally, it’s been seeing eroding numbers and the Alt 99.1 translator sorta fills that hole (comes in poorly anywhere outside of Southern/Western Cuyahoga County though).
Hey, 105.9 in Pitt isn’t too bad when they’re actually playing music. They play plenty of Glorious Sons, Volbeat, Ghost etc in addition to the mall-ternative stuff.

I remember CMH having 2 pop stations. 97.9 (WNCI) being Adult CHR, 107.1 (Kiss FM-WAHC) being mainstream. Imaging-less B97 was the Hot AC then.

Well, it’s a simulcast of WQMX. At least for now. Radio insight believes this is temporary, so I guess we’ll see how long it lasts.
Re: The End of 107.3 The Wave Cleveland
Yeah... Curious to see if this will go on for awhile or if its short lived. There still streaming Christmas music on there Website, I would think the site would just redirect you to WQMX.
I am thinking Rhythmic AC or Alternative rock, for the permanent format . It's shocking The Wave lasted as long as it did.
