Weak, paranoid, power-hungry. Ok.
Fat, ugly? So it is your opinion that "fat, ugly" people should be limited to certain occupations?

Re: Why people hate cops
As an interesting aside - have you ever considered the mental and emotional profile differences between those who want to be firefighters and those who want to be police officers?

Fire fighters are pure heroes. They do not carry guns. They decide to apply and train for an occupation that will put their lives in jeopardy every time they show up for their shift. Whether fighting structure fires, or fighting wild fires - these courageous men and women are in the rescuing business. They do whatever it takes to save lives. Including losing theirs. And that’s all they do. Smoke and flames are their enemies.
Police officers have opportunities to accidentally or purposely injure/kill with gunfire. Thus - the occupation may attract individuals who want to carry guns and use them for pathological reasons - which might not have been apparent to their employers - or even to to themselves - when they applied, were trained, and hired by a police department.
This is not to say ALL or even most law enforcement officers abuse their power. Far from it. Many, many of them have heroically suffered injuries or have been killed while performing their jobs of public service. However far too many members of the public who are innocent have been harmed or killed by so called bad cops.
