Oh Bernie...

Unread post by Lickalime »

A few weeks ago my husband and I were watching Channel 4 11:00 newscast. Bernie was off and the fill in anchor was (I believe) Jamie Edmonds(?) What a breath of fresh air compared to a usualy Bernie sportscast. It was nice to get sports stories actually reported and not so poorly overdone Weekend at Bernie's or whatever pointless something he comes up with.

I've never been a big Bernie fan, but what he likes to call reporting is not evern interesting anymore.

Bernie's schtick is about 20 years past its prime.

I totally agree! Bernie is the worst. Jamie is so much more pleasant to watch.

My preference is when Steve Garagiola covers the sports shift.

I remember Jamie referring to the Tigers division rivals as the Kansas Royals.

Did anyone see the his show this evening? A man ran through a strange and very difficult obstacle course. It reminded me of a live action Rube Goldberg device, like the game Mousetrap but the size of a gym.

Joe, it wasn’t a one-time only reference, leading me to believe it wasn’t just a case of a mere mistake but rather sheer ignorance.

Bernie has been mailing it in for a long time now.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I feel like you thought this was a smear thread on Bernie Sanders and this was the comment you posted in disappointment lmao

I've heard he doesn't even live in the area, but in a nice suburb of NYC. He flies in to do his 3 minutes but keeps his family in NYC where he spends most of his time.

Bernie was terrible 25, even 30 years ago. He bombed in NYC.

Last I knew, he owned a house near Franklin, MI.
