Most (all?) broadcast websites are now designed and programmed to allow for weather forecasts to automatically be replaced when a newer version is posted.
News and sports stories are "archived." Weather forecasts are not.

Now, it would be really nice if --instead of derailing posts -- you would stick to the topic at hand. This post initially started out as a respectful discussion on why meteorologists at the same tv station can have wildly varying forecasts.
