At rhe risk of starting a flame war, while scanning the dial tonight, this song came on WJLB. Now please, defend this. Tell me how this is influencing people positively in any way. This is the vast majority of the lyrical (never mind lack of actual music) depth you will find on the average CHR/Urban station. Not to say "Animals" by Nickelback is any better, but at the very least, it's a group of people trying to work out an actual song.

Now, by all means, put this up against the lyrics of "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash or "It's Like That" by Run DMC. Take a gander. This is what people are preferring and listening to.
