Current Windsor A 25-54 ratings

A place to go for those of you who wish to discuss happenings in OH, IN, IL, WI, and Ontario. OSU sucks, by the way.

Current Windsor A 25-54 ratings

I doubt that Numeris wants people putting that actual numbers online, but here is a description based on each station. (I saw the numbers on another website)

CKLW : The overall ratings leader
Cool : Top rated music station
89 and Virgin : No longer in the basement. 89 is getting closer to Country 95-9, and Virgin is beating Mix 96.7
CBC and Detroit : not shown
580 CKWW : distant last

Thanks for the info!

The fact 88.7 cannot beat 95.9 is hilarious. I'm guessing 88.7 is drawing around a 3 share, which means it still draws a much smaller percentage of Windsor radio listening than during most of the station's tenure as 89X.

93.9 does sound halfway decent. A lot more effort seems to be invested in that station than is the case with 88.7.

So far nobody has deleted the numbers, so here is the link to the board where they are mentioned. A handful of markets throughout Ontario are shown.

Cool - thanks for sharing!!!

88.7 is performing better than I expected in 25-54 (and curiously enough is tied with 93.9!) while 96.7 is doing worse than I expected.

97.5 Virgin Radio's numbers in London is amazingly strong. I doubt there is any CHR station in a market of similar size in the U.S. with A25 to 54 numbers that strong!

Country 104 seems to be making inroads in the London market too. Pure Country (formerly BX93) used to own that market. Maybe listeners aren't digging the corporate programming.
Mix 96.7 seems to have tweaked a little hotter. They sounded not all that different from WNIC for a time. Now they're back to pretty much '90s to now with an occasional '80s song still.

"Cool", as in the radio station, or "cool" as in "that's great"?
