After being sold to the operators of Columbus CCM station 104.9 The River along with Classic Hits 960 WKVX, the Wooster station will become 104.5 The River on May 1st.
Downside: Another heritage station taken over by a Jesuscaster.
Upside: It's a regional operator and not EMF. Also they are retaining some local farm and sports programming.

No format change has been announced for 960 WKVX but it wouldn't surprise me to see them flip to talk/teaching or maybe Southern Gospel.

Country music fans down that way will simply switch to iFart's WNCO or Rubber City's WQMX.
NCO has the stronger signal there but QMX has the better programming.
