..to go along with the 4 pm news they added last year, in addition to the 430-7 am, noon, 5, 530 and 6 pm news, along with "The Nine" which is a talk show hosted by local news people.
Appreciate their commitment to local programming when the rest of Toledo media is dying, but is there really enough news in northwest Ohio/far southeast Michigan to justify having seven hours of news a day? Or is syndication just also dying so they can't otherwise fill those hours?

Dude, there's a thing called the CHANNEL CHANGER!!!!! How the fuck is ANYTHING on television jammed down your gullet..
While you, the viewer may be saying that sarcastically, the sales and accounting departments are jumping for joy. More local commercials to sell with virtually NO ADDITIONAL COSTS! (I'm almost sure that no one got a raise to do another 1/2 hour of the same news you've been watching all day.)

WTOL is also adding a 4:00 newscast, replacing Dr. Phil.
WTVG's I don't understand as they're replacing two syndicated shows still in production, ET and Inside Edition, and moving IE to a graveyard slot.
