"Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
"Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
What a good slogan! They dropped to number 3, overall. Kiss was at the top. Anything else jump out at anyone else?

Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
Does WJLB actually subscribe to Toledo ratings, or was its listing an oversight?
One has to figure some of K100's listeners went over to The River for Christmas music. 103.7's classics format seems to be making some headway as well and probably grabbed some of K100's upper end. Wonder how 107.7 The Wolf fared this time.
Also looks like WBCL has started subscribing since they took over 88.9 WTPG. Makes me wonder how WPOS, Yes FM and K-Love stack up against each other especially since WPOS abandoned its southern gospel/old time hymns for CCM a few years back.

Since iHeart is a subscriber in both markets, any station that hits some minimum reporting standards and owned by a subscriber is going to show up. Same thing if a Toledo station would show up in Detroit (not likely to happen but I believe they are all PPM encoded)ChrisWL1980 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 12:22 am Does WJLB actually subscribe to Toledo ratings, or was its listing an oversight?

None of Toledo's iHeart stations are PPM encoded. They will not show up in the Detroit ratings.
Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
Gary would know, and yes, Market 104 doesn't rate for PPM encoding.
I wonder if any of Toledo's iHeart subchannels will show up in the next book for Toledo? Also, how can K-100 say that they're number one anymore? They're not for the first time in a half a generation. I expected the River to suck down the big Christmas ratings, especially since Cumulus was too stupid to put all Christmas on one or signals, even WMIM, anything to get an extra share or 2.
But, lacking the localness that they once had, I myself was shocked that 92.5 zoomed into the number one spot. That surprised me.
Maybe K100 can say that they're number one in males 50-65, but 104 and 94.5/Grizzly probably beat them in that demo too. Did K100 rank #1 in any demo?

Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
Remember, this has happened a few times before. That's why they, K100, had not said they are #1 in a few years.
So far, it does not appear to make them #1 this year, for the holiday season. Unless there's lag in reporting and publishing, these should be the November 2019 numbers.
Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
The most recent report is titled Dec 2019 - which ended Dec 2, 2019. Most December listening is not measured in a diary market.
Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
True...but November was not a raging success, since they switched on Nov 1st. I am hearing about too many "Grandparent" songs that were aired. Obviously, nobody tested any music this year, as I heard complaints on hearing holiday songs that were too worn out.Radio Sucks wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 12:05 pm The most recent report is titled Dec 2019 - which ended Dec 2, 2019. Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
The Dec 2019 report covers the 90 day period that ended Dec 2, not just November. So without some sort of extrapolation (which I believe with the new weighting etc. is not possible without using the respondent level data programs) there is no telling how The River did in November. In PPM markets that only contain 4 weeks of data, November Xmas programming is not as impactful as Dec Xmas as reported in the “holiday” period. Since there are no diaries distributed in Toledo Dec 2 thru Jan 1, we will never know the impact on Glass City listening.
Re: "Toledo's #3 radio station- K100!"
Yeah, I got a dollar in the mail last week from Nielsen as a reminder to mail in my diary, like I would forget? Why would I want to forget to mention that I don't listen to Q1055?

Put whatever reasons you do not listen in the comments section. You may not be a P1, but could easily be a P2. This way, the direct feedback not taken will be on record.
