103.9 in Fort Wayne had only a 0.5 share in spring 2019! Absolutely pathetic for a full-power (albeit Class A) stick located in the middle of Fort Wayne! Rimshots on 101.1* and 106.7, as well as the Catholic station on 106.3 (which is also a rimshot, but not to the extent of 101.1 or 106.7), exceeded 103.9's share
* - 101.1 now has a simulcast on 1450 AM and 104.3 FM in Fort Wayne proper, but the simulcast didn't start until July or August

Didn’t know WLYV changed calls. I would have recalled the FM station instead- WLYV was a popular Top 40 in Fort Wayne years ago and the calls have nostalgia.

WOWO is still that strong while other legacy news-talk AMs like WLS, WABC and to a lesser extent WJR have fallen by the wayside.
I always enjoy listening to the Bear when passing through that area between Toledo and Chicago. A much better listen than the rock stations in the latter two cities are for sure.

Amazing... 97.3 imaged well, until recently. They always were very hot, even before 107.9 even came along. I remember getting them in Toledo, before Oak Harbor got a 97.3.
This kinda shows me that Q105 could be something.... but Cumulus needs to work it. I doubt they will though. Much like middle eastern owned hotels- Cumulus will milk the shit out of 105.5, without improving it or keeping it up. Those of you who worked at Pickle Palace and Cumulus Compound know what I mean... front and back. Cheap f*ckers!

WMEE is live & local in all day parts with lots of callers and interaction. WAJI is voice tracked in each day part.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 8:00 am Wow - 97.3 WMEE is absolutely KILLING IT!!!
Majic 95.1 is underachieving big time.

A big part of the WMEE dominance is their well-liked morning team of Andy & Nicole. If you recall, this is the show Mojo famously accused of stealing his bits.
103.9 has changed directions with each ratings book. One minute it is Soft AC, the next it is AC and upbeat, the next it is soft again.ftballfan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 9:13 am 103.9 in Fort Wayne had only a 0.5 share in spring 2019! I see they actually just changed formats yesterday.

Might be a smart move if they keep it pop-oriented. WLDE 101.7 reports as Classic Hits but plays very little pop. It has a strong rock edge.
