Translator for 1230 WCWA?
Translator for 1230 WCWA?
I had heard, back before the data dump on here, that there was possibly going to be a translator for 1230? on 100.3? I was thinking 102.7 or 106.9 would be a better spot.
Re: Translator for 1230 WCWA?
I thought that was supposed to be on 92.1. After the FCC confusion, I thought they brought that frequency back.

1520 is on there, it doesn't come very well and sounds like trash
Re: Translator for 1230 WCWA?
Then it's 92.9. Must have confused the two frequencies.

W262CT at 100.3 was approved for WCWA-AM in 2016, but it was never built and the assignment was later transferred to another market (escapes me which one).
92.9 W225AM is used by WSPD-AM.

I would think 100.3 would be an issue due to WNIC. I never listen to the station, especially when in Toledo, so I don’t know where exactly their signal fades.
CWA has so little local programming other than Mud Hens games and brokered weekend shows that it’s a perfect fit for AM only.

106.9 would seem like the logical place IMO. 102.7 might be a bit dicey with WWWW in Ann Arbor.
