Apparently the numbers for his afternoon-drive show never caught on.

I was a fan of his show back in The Loop days, but there is so much competition outside of just radio.

Dahl appears to have followed Garry Meier's model and is now offering three full-length podcasts per week for no charge. He previously posted 10-minute snippets for non-paying subscribers but that changed a few months ago. Meier posts three podcasts per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) with open access. Paying subs can access additional shows on Tuesday and Thursday. The paid shows are slightly longer as well.

Dahl made reference to the fact his show was being replaced by a political program. I didn't know it was Shapiro although I figured it would be some form of syndication.

I know political shows have their audience, but I've never understood why the bulk of talk radio is either politics or sports.
