This is not the first attempt at Classic Country on 1310. Fabiano-Strickler tried it briefly when they owned WCCW.

I assume the WCCW calls are still in place as WTCM is assigned to 580. Guessing the former is mentioned only in the legal ID.

Yes, that's what they are doing! I get the reasoning behind the "WTCM" branding, but that does seem a bit confusing when their legal ID is still WCCW.

As long u use call letters at top of hour u can name your station anything you want

Really really loving the new station.I'm probably in the minority,but I like the sound of this being on an a AM station.

One change i would like,a little higher percentage of 90s tunes including some of those that weren't necessarily chart toppers.

I agree. Been listening to it off and on and am getting to like it, too!

What I meant by this is it reminds me of just cruising aimlessly around in the car back in the 80s/90s listening to cassette's and 8 track's.
