Jeff Holbrook dies (WWCK)
Re: Jeff Holbrook dies (WWCK)
Such sad news.
He along with the 105 crew was the soundtrack of my hellraising days in the 80’s at the Mikatam, and other watering holes.
Roberta Wray former TV5 reporter and judge died also.
Sad to see this.

There's a lot of Jeff Holbrook in Peter Cavanaugh's documentary, and his book, Local DJ.
Jeff was a good guy, and absolutely, a star, and a broadcasting legend in the once great city of Flint.

Heard his legendary voice on a TV commercial for a downtown Flint bar (name escaping me at this moment) the other day on ABC12.
Fantastic pipes, great music knowledge and I’m sure he could’ve easily worked in Detroit if he wanted to move there. RIP Jeff.

The downtown Flint bar is The White Horse.
