The problem with TV news

Attention cheap a** General Managers, News Directors and station owners… if you want to know why mid-market stations like Flint are hiring kids right out of college with no experience, you need to read this:

In addition to bad pay, high stress and low morale, pile on Sinclair’s must run propaganda and that McDonald’s job down on Pierson Riad is looking pretty good right now!!!

I read that article and unfortunately thought of your station group immediately. Your morning anchor goes off on maternity leave and it completely upsets the apple cart. Mike Woolfolk back on mornings as a result, a reporter anchoring last Saturday’s evening news and Dave Bondy having to come in on Sunday to anchor 6, 10 & 11. God knows what happened before maternity leave as poor Stephanie had to come in to do the early morning shift. Piss poor wages and staff reductions / layoffs in the past year didn’t help the situation.
