Governor’s Town Hall Thursday

Unread post by sinklair »

On Thursday. WJRT-ABC12, WNEM and WEYI will team up to broadcast a Coronavirus town hall with Governor Whitmer. As long as the questions posed to the Governor are tough, it’s a good use of our and viewers’ time. But we’ll have to see if we’ll get real answers or just softball questions.

Two other questions about the horrible video being used to promote the special:
(1) why do 25 & 12 use the town hall logo while Frank Turner is standing by a H*** TV5 logo — once again WNEM is making it all about them
(2) I thought Dave Bondy was 25-66’s main anchor. But we’re starting to see much more of Mike Woolfolk now that 25-66’s accountant in chief has left the building. It appears that Bondy and the In Over Her Head News Director are butting heads and the golden boy title has shifted over to Woolfolk. I swear management on Pierson Road has extremely thin skin...

Would it be anything like the Detroit-hosted own hall last month, where they talked about what was already obvious?

WOTV will air the town hall on Thur and I'm not going to watch as nothing new will come out of it.

Especially without anyone else with a differing perspective.

Will they call a House or a Senate leader? Nope.

Sharks are circling after Frank Turner asked Whitmer tough questions. When Whitmer side-stepped, Frank then asked the Doctor directly!

I'm shocked. Detroit TV is second rate.

Frank asked if the July fireworks in Saginaw are going to able to take place, and she could answer that question so businesses could plan for it...she said she didn't know.

They her asked why banning golf carts was "required" (hint it's not in any EO).

She said it takes people to clean the carts. (I'm thinking that's a whole new industry!)

People are cleaning shopping carts at supermarkets and big boxes -- how hard is it to clean a golf cart?

Easier than a shopping cart! Steering wheel, seat and side handles.
