Sounds like good progress, but this also provides less incentive for Sinclair to work with cable, satellite and digital streaming providers like YouTube TV. Expect more blackouts as Sinclair wants to push viewers to purchase its upcoming streaming app.
Not that there may be anything to stream with the current MLB lockout.
So, Sinclair is laying out a lot of cash at a time when there may be no games starting in the spring. Sounds like more great timing for the Corporate Death Star.
