Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update last night. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. I understand coverage for such a critical issue but to sweep all the other local news aside is disturbing. I know it's the thumb area and all but there are things there they could be reporting I am sure. Not likely they'v been having slow news days...

I am NOT picking on WLEW by itself, they are just an example, of what is going on Nation wide, to a more/less of a degree.
With a lot of sporting and social events cancelled, plus the changes in lifestyle, there's not much else to report. And even if it's something like a weather event, it's hard to talk about THAT without bringing up COVID-19.
Good God! Is Max still there? He was a fixture when I worked there in 1981. I'll bet he's still doing magic tricks in the corner booth at the Wooden Nickle.

Yet, we don't really know if these people died actually of covid-19, or had other issues in conjunction with the virus.
If you have a deceased 14-year-old female nonsmoker cold dead with lungs full of blood, it's likely Covid.

IF.........that 14 yr had died in a Car Accident.........it would NOT be hyped by the Swamp Media.
Shit, we don't even care about people who were shot at gun point in robberies, killed by drive-by shootings, or those who were destroyed by devastating tornadoes and other storm activities. That no longer sells advertising on NBC Nightly Fright!
