Yep, I know about him.
Many things.

I did not know if the current person is the new permanent host or temporary. They used to have a decent website with a lot of information and decent playlists. Too bad the college is just letting the station wither away. I hope the new management will breathe new life into the station. A while ago, MW posted a plan that radio stations followed in their hay day that made them successful. The college only needs to follow those ideas.

The new afternoon host at Real Oldies 1480/850 is Rob Sanford. He has been on the air since January 2. Rob replaces long time afternoon host Tom Wyant who decided to retire in December. Tom is a great guy and is missed at Real Oldies. We wish him all the the best in his retirement. Rob is the permanent host and brings a wealth of experience with him. Rob has been in radio since the early 70's starting at WKLA in Ludington. His career path took him to WSHN/Fremont, WHTC/Holland, WLRQ and WKBZ/Muskegon. He was also the long time News Director at WOOD/Grand Rapids and spent 15 years in Detroit at WXYT and WWJ. Bob Delaforce had been doing afternoons in the interim, and will continue to be the fill-in/vacation relief announcer as well as being on the air 3-6pm on Saturday afternoons. Long time market veteran Bob Becker continues in his position of mid day host on Saturdays and Sundays.
